Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy explains how unpaid, partially paid, and buyer-cancelled orders are handled at Mayfair & Co. By placing an order through mayfairhome.co or any of our authorized sales channels, you agree to the terms below.


1. Order Confirmation & Payment

Your order is confirmed and queued for production once full payment is received. Orders awaiting payment — whether in full or in part — are held in our system but are not processed.

Accepted payment methods include those displayed at checkout (bank transfer, GCash, credit/debit card, and any other gateway currently enabled on our storefront).

2. Production & Shipping Holds

If a balance is outstanding on your order, the following holds apply:

  • Items unpaid — both production and shipping are placed on hold until payment for the items clears.
  • Shipping fee unpaid — production may proceed, but your order will not be dispatched until the shipping fee clears.

We will not begin work on, or release, an order with an outstanding balance.

3. Payment Window

You have 14 calendar days from the date of order placement to settle any outstanding balance.

During this window, we will send up to three (3) payment reminders through the contact details you provided at checkout (email, mobile, or messaging app, depending on where the order was placed):

Reminder Timing Purpose
1st Within 1 business day of order Friendly reminder with payment instructions
2nd Day 5 Follow-up; confirmation that the order is on hold
3rd Day 10 Final notice before cancellation

4. Automatic Cancellation

Orders with an outstanding balance after 14 calendar days from order placement may be cancelled by Mayfair & Co. without further notice.

Once cancelled:

  • Partial payments already received will be refunded to the original payment method within 7 business days of cancellation.
  • A 5% administrative fee will be deducted from the refund amount for cancelled custom or made-to-order items (including, but not limited to: personalized labels, monogrammed goods, engraved items, and items produced to buyer specifications) where production has already commenced.
  • Standard, non-customized items are refunded in full, less any third-party gateway or transfer fees beyond our control.

5. Extensions

If you need more time to settle your balance, you may request an extension by emailing hello@mayfairhome.co before the 14-day deadline.

Extension requests must include:

  • Your order number
  • The reason for the request
  • A proposed new payment date

Extensions are granted at Mayfair & Co.'s sole discretion and are not guaranteed.

6. Buyer-Initiated Cancellations

You may request to cancel an order at any time before it has shipped by emailing hello@mayfairhome.co with your order number.

  • Standard items, not yet in production — full refund, less any gateway fees beyond our control.
  • Custom or made-to-order items, not yet in production — full refund, less any gateway fees.
  • Custom or made-to-order items, already in production — refund of the unproduced portion only; a 5% administrative fee applies. Items already produced are non-refundable.
  • Orders already shipped — cancellation is no longer possible; please refer to our Refund Policy for return options.

7. Cancellation by Mayfair & Co.

We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion, including but not limited to:

  • Suspected fraud or unauthorized payment
  • Stock unavailability
  • Pricing or product description errors
  • Inability to deliver to the address provided

In these cases, you will be notified via the contact details on file, and any payment received will be refunded within 7 business days.

When the cancellation is caused by our error — specifically stock unavailability or a pricing or product description error on our part — you may choose between:

  • Full refund to your original payment method, or
  • 110% store credit (the value of your order plus an additional 10% as our apology), redeemable on any future order with no expiry.

For cancellations due to suspected fraud or an undeliverable address, a full refund to the original payment method is the only option; the 110% store credit alternative does not apply.

8. Marketplace Orders

For orders placed via Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, or any other marketplace, that platform's cancellation policy governs the transaction. This policy applies only to orders placed directly through Mayfair & Co. channels (website, Instagram, Facebook, or email).
